In episode 223 of the Transformation Cafe, host Robin Masiewicz interviewed Dr. Ted Peña,  a practicing chiropractor for over 25 years, about the Seven Pillars of Optimal Health.

In this episode Dr. Peña elaborates on the first pillar of optimal health: Time.

Dr. Pena explains why he considers Time one of the pillars of Optimal Health. He offers insights into the importance of living “in the now”, and provides tips for how to apply this concept in our own lives.

Time is one of those things that we never seem to have enough of, but we all have the same 24 hours in a day. How we use our time, and where we focus our attention, can make a big difference in the quality of our lives. Robin and Dr. Pena share their thoughts about this important concept.


Dr. Peña also shares a compelling story about his friend Paul, who didn’t take the time to practice self-care, and now suffers from kidney failure as a result of diabetes from years of drinking soda and eating junk food. Dr. Peña shares Paul’s message and its connection to the first of the seven pillars of Optimal Health.
